Hello Friends and Humans,

It has been a while since I posted! My apologies: this past month has become a challenging time with Supreme Court Justice's decisions that have taken home in my soul. Like many of you who believe sex is sacred, I am worried about what will be in the next few years. We are in this together, and I am apprehensive for those I love most: you, friends, and family.

Showing my geek-dom here, I can only describe my grief as similarly living during the Second Wizarding War in 1995 in the book series Harry Potter. During these times of fear, which is a thing as vital as hope, it can sometimes be hard to see the light. I am reminding myself what my spiritual director reminds me of: You are God's beloved, whom God delights.

In addition to what many describe as women's rights and environmental concerns taking a 50-year-step-back, I also found myself preparing for and preaching on June 26, 2022, which took up much of my time. As a fringe benefit of the live streaming church - I can say with joy that my sermon on the topic of Stonewell, Oppression, and Violence, and most importantly, the hope that still exists, is available to view online (including the manuscript).

Lovely queer friends and humans, remember that pride in who you are as humans are not segregated to a month. You are seen and beloved.
