Leather Eros is a "revisit" to the original purpose of this ministry/project initially regarding "sacred sexuality".  For those who have forayed into the leather scene for more than a minute - sacred sexuality is vast! Sacred Sexuality normally describes Goddess Religions/Wiccan/Paganism (Modern Day Definition!) 

 

Yet... love is important enough in Christianity that we have four types of it - Eros, Storge, Philia, and Agape.

Eros meaning - physical, sexuality, romantic love.

​

Almost all Christian denominations foster a culture of guilt and shame around sex and gender identity, sexuality, sexual expression, and non-dyadic (i.e. Ethical Non-Monogamy (ENM) & polyam) relationships.

Genesis 2:25 spells it out: "both [were] naked, and were not ashamed."

Chaplaincy of Leather Eros lifeblood is a theological belief that we are made in the spirit's image, and by believing so, God gave us sexuality. God created us in God's Image. God gave us sexuality when God created us in God's Image. Consensual Sexuality is inherently **good** between informed adults because Genesis states that what God made was Good. Humans are responsible for defiling what is good and creating suffering. We are stewards of our sexuality and the intention behind our actions. By embracing Sacred Sexuality, we can:

• Embrace sexuality and spirituality. 

• Ask and Answer "Embarrassing Questions" without shame
